Major Gun Bills Scheduled for This Monday March 6th at 9:00 A.M.

We have long expected Governor Lamont’s assault on our Second Amendment rights and the time has come! CCDL has taken a position on 3 Second Amendment related bills in the Judiciary Committee and we NEED YOUR HELP NOW!

This is the largest comprehensive gun bill package since 2013. In 2013, thousands of you showed up in Hartford and we MUST do it again. The most powerful way to use your voice is to PLEASE join us in Hartford at the Legislative Office Building on Monday! Sign up here no later than Sunday at 3pm!

If you cannot join us in person, you can still advocate in two ways:

    1. Sign up to speak live at the hearing via Zoom or telephone. Register by 3:00 P.M. March 5th If you need help using Zoom, join us at CCDL Headquarters at 135 Main St Seymour. Be sure to have registered by Sunday at 3:00pm.

    1. Submit written testimony by Monday, March 6, 2023 (earlier is better) via the NEW online submission formLive speakers should also submit written testimony.

Submitting written testimony takes only 90 seconds. You do not need to be an expert to advocate for your rights. A short, simple “I oppose” or “I support” is fine!

Can we count on you to participate in this critical hearing?

The public hearing can be viewed via YouTube Live and may be broadcast live on CT-N.com
