Woodbridge Update
Few months ago we helped get the zoning approval for the Woodbridge gun shop.
Old ordinances in Woodbridge recently discovered:
- Chapter 231 Firearms - Discourage use of firearms within the town and prohibit hunting on town property. No person shall discharge any firearm... crossbow... airgun. Discharge of any weapon 500 yards of any building. Anyone found carrying a weapon. No hunting or target shooting or any other activity involving discharging of a weapon. Posession of loaded weapon on town owned property is prima facie evidence of a violation.
A member met with the ordinance committee and the selectmen to try and revise the ordinance.
We should ask to amend to provide exemption for permit holders.
